Martina Barra is an architect and artist based between Uruguay and Argentina.

She graduated from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, where she also completed a Minor in Landscape Design. Through Estudio Barra and AZAR + BARRA, she develops projects ranging from architecture and renovations to interiors and creative direction.

Martina lived in Barcelona, where she continued her artistic education through courses at Barcelona Academy of Art, expanding her practice in drawing, painting, composition and visual storytelling.

Her work sits at the intersection of architecture, landscape and art. Through both built projects and independent artistic practice, she explores atmosphere, memory, materiality and the relationship between people and place.
